You want to use the frame rate that you shot in and edited in. Pinkbike will use either one and preserve it, but for quality sake, on your end you want to import your footage to your editing software at the same frame rate that you shotted in, and edit in that frame rate, then export at exactly the same rate.
I just saw that you said you show in 60i, so i guess either way your program probably requires that you import and convert the frame rate.
When you upload it I'll see it, and then manually re-convert with the new settings to test....the initial one you'll see may not be right.

The variable frame rate is how your encoder seems to work for some reason. Not sure if you can select a setting on it of a fixed rate output. Also I noticed in your source there are some deinterlacing artifacts on the rider. Are you deinterlacing on your end?

I looked into this sync issue and fixed it. It has to do that you are using variable frame rate...this causes all sorts of weird stuff, especially when you edit in blanks in the stream...that is like your black pause 30 seconds in.
The variable frame rate is still problematic because it is hard for flash players to play back and cans cause jitters on playback.
I have not implemented the new encoder live yet but this test is promising.

yup, the sites have a uniform login so no one can take your pinkbike username, it's only saved for you. To activated it, just login with your pinkbike just like here.

Also Cro-Mag told me that it's you can also cut trees down in an area where forestry just planeted new trees if the tree is under 8 feet. I guess it's like abortion...if it's still small its ok to get rid of it Smile honest!

In Canada its ok to cut down trees in the forest if they are under power lines. I guess hydro wants to keep trees from growing under the power lines.
But that is a tree farm....$20 and you get to pick out and cut down your own tree.

That's some major drama. I guess rules are rules and if you allow it then you have to start drawing the line of quantity of assists, etc.

Pinkbike is here for one purpose. Share the Ride. That original tag line rings true more than ever. Pinkbike is here to promote riding to more and more people and to help innovation in this sport. To introduce new riders to the sport, to introduce current riders to other aspects of the sport and to promote the companies, big and small, the riders, pro an noob, the photographers and film makers, new and old, to each other.
Corporate is only bad if it takes from the industry and does not give back. Most of the cycling companies are continually giving back. Take for example this. Shimano supports riders like Shandro and Simmons allowing them be in the industry, test, and possibly innovate on products that you all will take advantage of. Shimano supports film makers like anthill so they can create great videos like this for them and you to watch, but also, it gives anthill the funds and ability to create full films down the road, that we all enjoy even more. They also support websites like pinkbike, who then in turn supports riders, who then in turn help out other riders, etc. Now, consumers who support those companies allow them to further innovate and support more aspects of the industry and in a greater capacity. So it's a big circle.
The moral of the story is, if you want to keep cycling healthy, support the companies who you see promoting the sport the most, innovating in the sport, and who support other aspects and people in the sport.
