demz, that is your opinion, BUT more bikers thought otherwise. When you have 1000s of users voting, and the contest is close, you will always have disappointed people. It goes both ways.
From the voting side, it was fair. We know more about technology than you, and we make the contest voting fair. It's all good. Live with it.

The judging was real, both times around. How hard can this be to understand?

I'm sure it's NOT a plugin. Red Bull said that kpeek showed off the most editing and motion graphics ability, and as a company that would require that sort of work, they could call on him to get the job done. Also kpeek received the most user votes.

You got the best of both worlds then. One winner who was totally chill and the other over the top showing off, off the wall editing abilities.

The idea here is that this is a front transmission system for the front ring. Thought the ring looks small, like a granny, the transmission system makes it act as a ring 1.6 times it's size. So you get the best of both worlds without the need of a front derailleur.

Wasn't there a big deal a while ago when he said that he will give up golf because he does not want families of dying soldiers watching him play golf as their children are dying. Does the same apply for mountain biking?

It not the arguing that is the issue. Everyone should. Actually I think it would have been a really useful comment to those that may have not been aware of the facts. But the "u retard" start is not a good way to start any discussion.

Yes, we all know that. Just trying to make a joke by touching on a historical event and stretching it to fit a current event. Try to keep up.

Then again, it may be a good idea if some warriors jump out of that thing and take back the white house.

Great detail in the photos. Totally shows off the whole bike, and the videos add to it nicely too. Great job.

The keg ride was cool. Wasn't quite 8 seconds but close enough for me.

It looks like there are almost 5000 photo uploads per day now. Sooo...for the next million it would take 200 days, so like 6 month a million. May hit 3 million before the year end.

Diesel in the US was around $4.25 per gallon. Seems expensive but much cheaper than the Europe price.

That's a great way to get the point across. I was sad when I started reading and all I could think of was all the times I just wear my helmet unstrapped.
Glad to hear you are alright Si, at least physically. I'm pretty sure this story will be in my mind every time I'll even think about not strapping in, and it will make me do it.
So from now on I'm Strapped in you C*nt!

sticker manufacturing costs money. $0.25 for little sticker to $2 for big one. If we had money to just make them and give them away we would. This is basically break even to sell them at $10
Were not some big company that has a marketing budget and can just spend $1000s of dollars for that. Its simply a way to get stickers to those that want them. If we could get them made for free, we would give them for free.

It's always good to have new competition to keep all the companies inventing and evolving the technology and products. In the end the end user/rider benefits the most.

From the Interview I get that the shock is a unique and important part of the design. Would it be possible to just get the shock and make a current production bike bet many of the benefits? I'm sure the geometry of this bike is fine tunned to work even better but even if we could get some of the performance that would be something.

When I first read about the contest I assumed that many of the entries would be energy based. That is the generation of electricity by pedaling and then powering something.
These guys were thinking out of the box for sure, and the good implementation, design, and useful end result clearly makes them the winner.
