I only got into moto a couple of years ago. Never even rode a motorcycle before that. Of course we saw dirtbikers at our mountian riding the fire road and we always looked down on them and thought what abunch of lazy asses they were for having a "motor". Then I did my first enduro race...4 hours later, it was the hardest thing from a physical, cardion, and endurance thing i ever did...and i raced XC back in the day. Those that have not done the enduro moto before you would understand, but coming from me, an mtb guy like you, dont make the mistake at dismissing it as non active. It's actually much more demanding than mtb. Think about this...a DH run 5 minutes of going fast and working your bike the whole time. Your whole body is working, and you're spent. An enturo race...3 hours...non stop, and it's basically a DH run the whole time. Just another point of view. I respect both sports now.

marquis: I heard that in the UK they are going to fully ban offroad dirt biking. It's a shame because it's has been such a big country in that sport.
I do have to do some research but I the thinking is that they have no emissions control on the dirt bikes.

How about this? Should I feel bad that I ride my ktm 525 moto on trails when I should be riding my mtb. I keep hearing that motos pollute more than cars (don't know if thats true actually).
But I just can't help it it's so much fun to me. We can't always do the right thing. If we try to argue that, we can just say that instead of anything that we do for ourselves we could be working those hours to make and then give away money to society and starving children.

It's great to have different opinions and it's great to debate as long as you don't take things personally. If someone wants to debate I hope they are able to say at one point, oh actually I get your point now, and I was wrong and now I agree with your point of view. That's a really hard thing to do.
The worst is, snipe personal comments at those who are making a point. If someone does that, they should forfeit the argument because they just choose the lower road.

Its a signature or logo on a photo. In this photo you can see it in the bottom left. Normally a watermark is just overlayed on top of a photo without thought at the location. This one is cool because it makes it look like it was written on the object in the photo.

It's not longer. You can see that they are hanging on a bar that is going into the distance. So the black on is farther away and therefore it looks smaller.

This is actually a ktm 525, with a big bore 540 kit, super moto cam, mx card. It's the bike we raced this passed baja 1000 on. And we'll be racing it again in a couple of month in the 2009 baja 1000
