And the winner of the Recut Seasons edition is...oh wait, you have to watch this video and see Jamie, the director of Seasons announce the winner.
The video got twice as many votes as the 2nd place video.
There will be 2 additional winners announced tomorrow.

i no im gonna get hated on lol amazing editing way to over done for a seasons teaser like thats not what collective would do in there teaser song sucked music sorta went to music i think the viewers could have picked better
i think this was AWESOME!!! and yeah its not supposed to necessarily feel like a collective vid. im also not surprised that he beat larock because personally, i really didnt like his two vids. dont get me wrong im a big fan of his just his recuts didnt quite do it for me. but yeah, wtv. and congrats!
couldn't have picked a worse song imo. It wasn't bad but larock, battlecat, chump all had better ones.
yeah.. this video is alright but imo larocks was better... it suited the atmosphere of seasons way better..

Guys you complain about Ryys's song choice. Wait a minute.. That competition was about editing skills not about choice of music. I also like Larock, but He did it with too much dust and fog. It was looking too heroic. Ryys made movie, that shows he's editing skills, and song which he like.
whatever, sick editing, but gay song. best editing and effects that i have seen in this contest, he even changed the colors which was impressive!!
it felt like new world disorder five which is where you nicked the way the sponsor logos come up from. not particularly original if you ask me but apparently not.
thats weird how people dont like it....i liked it way better than larock's entries it got me stoked, i think just cuz larock is well known around pinkbike thats why people wanted him to win....i thought it was the best editing even if the song wasnt maybe the best..

Ryys, well done. Reminds me why I ordered the vid after watching a premier here in Bellingham WA. USA. Truly, this is a global sport.
sick shit, but I would have chose a more smooth and relax song/editing style for a collective vid but your vid is still really good!gratz

idunno why peaople are bagging on it...that recut is damn good. those effects are not the easiest thing to do by a long shot. great job.
awesome i thought it was orignal espicially with the song choice as its not the best song for mtn bike or action sport films but u made it fit together that the song was great. it got me stoked to ride. thought it was the real deal

i dont know the video i thought was a little cheasy. It had great effects but there was almost too much of them which made it seem like the video was trying to do or show too many thing at once. Personally i voted for larocks it just has more of that collective feel that should be represented the teaser not like the nwd style of this teaser. Props great job on the win but im just saying
congrats ryss... i may get negative props for this... but I thought the seasons with 300 recut was more impressive...
I definatly agree... this is not like the collective would have done it...maybe they were looking for a new inspiration..to see what people wanted to see in todays teasers...and yeah the edit was awesome

Good video, but undeserved. This is the collective, not NWD - the soundtrack was wrong for a start, and the Collective never do visual or editing gimmicks, all they need is beautiful, epic shots - this video was full of little editing techniques that ultimately (I think) took away from the overall affect.. I think that was a massive shame, but the majority has spoken.... Oh well (two cents deposited)
I hate all these people coming on here and saying choice - its the peoples choice award!!!! You voted for the best and this won, if it got the most votes it's because its good and a lot of people liked it. I thought it was really good. OK maybe Larocks was good but he is a pro at this sort of thing and he works for a graphic design company. I'm pleased that an underdog has won and I think he did a good job - well done Ryys.
actually ryys is not so 'underdog' how you propably think, he is one of the top polish camera-man and he s filming most of polish contests and demos for local bike companies 
so, i guess, the only difference between him and larock is that ryys doesn t have film/graphic studies

I've known Larock well for years and years and he doesn't work for a graphics studio, he works at a sporting goods store and does the filming/editing in his spare time with a computer and HD camera. No fancy studio stuff. The guy just has a helluva lot of talent.

larocks was way better. its just because he's polish and theres alot of polish people on here that would rather vote for there own type of people then somone elses.

I bet there are a lot of video's just as good as larocks that no one watched because no one knew who they were. Stop dissing this guy, he did a good job. There is nothing you can do about it now its happened so just be satisfied.
im sad that larocks didnt win, in my opinion it was much better, music fitted well, got to the point, simple like the collective.

Congrats dude, good vid. Big thumbs down though to pinkbike on running of this comp. Really bad in my opinion.....asking people to view over 400 vids as way unfair on the guys that are on the later pages.....who the hell is going to sit and trawl through 400 vids???!?!?!!
They should have picked the best 25 vids and asked the people to vote on them.

Some of these recuts are better than the actual movie. I was at the premiere in Glasgow last night and left feeling particularly underwhelmed! Check out Home (www.resetfilms.co.uk) really cool movie, especially for those of us on this side on the pond.
