Happy April Fools!

It's that special day when we here at pinkbike turn things upside down. This year literally. No girl only sites, no porn sites buying pinkbike, or moto conversions, but just a quick little journey into html, css, and javascript.

The previous years you may remember we turned the whole site into a girl website.
Another year it was a porn website and last year we converted it to a moto website.
This year we decided to flip the whole site and most of the work is down, but individual data areas require attention on each and every page, so this year we decided to just enable the flipping the front page.
If you are a html/css programmer you can probably realize that this is not easy.
1. The actual text is upside down.
2. Photos on the pages are upside down. This is actually done on the client side with filters and canvas instead of server side flipping.
3. The actual layout elements like boxes and the column layout is reversed.
It's 3 am and we've been at this for a few hours now so it's time to fire it up.

Here is a tip if you are running windows and really want to blow your mind. Press CTRL, ALT, DOWN ARROW, all at once and it will flip everything once more!

I remember when we used to use the ctrl alt down thing in school. And just flip everyone computers upside down! Wicked times.
Last year when they made it chainslayer i was like wtf but this year really wanted to see what they did
i downloaded some special videos last night and when i woke up thismorning and the page was upside down i was a little bit freaked out.

I just had a well long conversation with someone about how the site may have been hacked or they might have f*cked up developements. Haha.

when i logged on i was like wtf is my computer broken?! i stood in front of my pc watching it for like 30 minutes and i couldn't understand why pinkbike was upside down... yea but thx pb it's a happy 1st april

my job blocks pinkbike but I figured out how to get it anyway. I thought that the tech people here caught on to me but noooo its pinkbike messing with my braiiin hahaha. good job pinkbike happy riding

They launched a fake new feature for gmail called "autopilot". It didn't actually do anything, but there was a page that outlined this new feature that would examine your previous responses and reply to your email for you.
Man i opened Pinkbike to check out the photo of the day and i was like AHHH!!! WTF! Then oh you clever bastards its april fools. Nice one pinkbike ppl.

this is great!!! my wife forgot it was april fools day, saw the site upsidde down and immediately panic set in..oh no a virus!!...she ran antivirus and didnt touch the PC until I got home 8 hrs later...because it didnt work...lmao...best fool yet..props guys!!

I just put a new screen in my laptop(bad episode with and airsoft gun) and thought I totally screwed up something up putting it in.
the only thing i have to say is this is cool, but it needs more work on it, i mean, the video servers were down for ages, im guessing because of this lol, plus last april the new site you put up was there for fking ages. don't leave it like this for to long lol
the videos have nothing to do with april fools. That was an upgrade that just happened to start the first of the month. Yes, we'll take it off later today.
