Pinkbike closes doors and opens Moto website...ChainSlayer.com

It has been a great bunch of years running pinkbike.com and riding around on pedal bikes. Great memories and friends, but we must progress as riders to another level. The next level is Moto, DirtBikes, and ChainSlayer. Bigger jumps, faster bikes, and let's cut to the chase, hotter podium girls.
On that note we are now closing pinkbike.com and starting a new website called ChainSlayer.com

I can write a big story why we are closing pinkbike and switching to moto but I think the following pictures will speak for themselves. I hope you all join us on a journey into the future of "riding".
You can go on a ride to, shuttle up for a ride, ride for 20 minutes, then wait, then shuttle again, then ride again, yada yada yada. Or you can show up with your Moto, start your engine and ride all day, enjoying yourself, getting better faster, and not being a lame pedal biker.
Best of all, unlike on a DH bike no one will ever say to you "dude, where's the motor on that thing?". Um yeah, right here byatch.
It's easy to switch over to moto. Look at me. I ride in my mtb helmet, mtb jersey, mtb gloves, mtb pads, mtb mace vest.
Need some more reasons to sell the mountain bike and get a dirtbike?

yep, nice april fool joke. I remember when they tried once before by saying that pinkbike had been bought by another website...

i dont think they would be mean enough to completly delete pinkbike as theres millions of pictures and thousands of users on it. they will probably just have two sites. well hopefully

Yeah, good joke, but chain slayer would be a sweet site. I used to ride Moto and it would have been fun had it half the riding community that mtn biking has. Plus the blue site looks awsome.

very nice. I missed april fool's day on pinkbike last year and before that, so this did surprise me. Pretty good though, and for the record, mtb jumps are way more manly than having a motor do all the work.

I still like the Ponies one best. Just bought my daughter a bike from Giant called "the Taffy" all butterflies ect (Check it on their web site). I couldn't stop tinking about the ponies as I lay down the cash. This is good though. Love the podium shot. The "girls" in the MTB one don't have enough facial hair though!!
