Carey Bokser Auction
November 18, 2006Published by radekLast February Freeride Entertainment's senior producer Carey Bokser passed away while skiing in the backcountry surrounding his Nelson, British Columbia home. Carey was a passionate rider, a guy who lived and breathed mountain biking.
The way he carried through this passion at Freeride Entertainment resulted in many relationships throughout the mountain bike universe: from riders to designers, photographers to marketing managers. Check out the auction now Sadly, Carey leaves behind his beautiful wife Anne and his chubby cheeked one-year-old daughter, Noa. As those of us in Nelson struggle to figure out how to best help his family through their incredible loss, we've come up with an idea. The purpose of the Carey Bokser Auction is to set up a Bike Industry Trust Fund for Carey's daughter, Noa. She's got the riding bug in her veins, and we want to help her have the freedom to ride wherever she pleases later in life. So, whether you're a friend of the family or not, inside you'll find signed World Cup jerseys, signed prints, limited edition helmets, as well as unique pieces of mountain bike and ski related gear, not to mention a Nelson, BC dream trip for the ages. There are some epic gems in here, and if you covet unique mountain bike paraphernalia, you're going to drool over what we've put together. ![]() Visit www.careybokserauction.com to see all of the items and follow the links to Ebay to make a bid, and if you get what you're going for, not only will you be contributing to the livelihood of a young girl who's lost her father, you'll be taking home something very few in the world have. The auction will remain open from November 20, 2006 to November 30th, 2006. Shipping costs within North America are covered in the minimum bid price. Overseas purchasers are responsible for shipping charges.
