New Marketing Direction for Pinkbike

Published Mar 31, 2006 at 11:49
It has come to our attention that Pinkbike users are predominately male in gender with a ratio of 99%. To correct this unbalance, our new marketing department has taken affirmative action to make Pinkbike more appealing to the feminine user. The next 6 months are going to be exciting, as Pinkbike goes back to it's roots, and gets in touch with it's questionable name, and yes, sells ponies in it's famous online store. We do not think this new look will impact male appeal because after all, pink is the new black. Happy surfing.

RedNeck Rumble 2 - Results

Published Mar 6, 2006 at 16:25
Well once again Vedder Mountain in Chilliwack played host to a bunch of riders looking to have a good time. And a good time is what they got! 39 racers reached deep into their pockets for the $2 fee to race down Dilemma in a winner takes all fun race. Times were fast as the dirt was mint, but the "shot gun" finish really separated the boys from the men....

Keeping it sketchy! The crew made it home in one piece. Well except for Tyler who was puking the entire way home because of a dirty grocery store chicken that had food poisoning. Different Strokes - Decoding the marketing hype of rear-suspension designs

Published Feb 3, 2006 at 13:10
If you were to cruise through a bike shop, you would find the sales floor stocked with four distinct designs of full-suspension bikes. You might also encounter a few completely autonomous and divergent suspension systems, in addition to several “better mousetrap” variations of the major four designs. To hear the engineers, builders, or licensees of any single suspension system tell it, theirs and only theirs is the One True Path To Smoother Riding. After listening to this spiel a few times from different mouths, it is easy to feel, well, a little confused.

This past Sunday the back wood riders of Chilliwack put on a small event called the Redneck Rumble.
